House of the Undying
The House of The Undying is an arcane lighting rod. Protected by The Watchers, The House of Undying is an arm of the Illuminated Assembly, and a place of study for the Eye of Terror. Those who find themselves lucky enough to enter the house of the Undying will find themselves surrounded by powerful magi who seek to understand the extent of power that flows from the Eye of Terror, all under the careful watch of Watcher overseers.
The relationship between the Watchers and the Illuminated Assembly is strenuous at best. They see the need for each other, as the Assembly provides powerful and trained recruits for the Watchers, and the Assembly is granted access to the most dangerous arcane anomaly in all of Ardicil, as long as they do not interfere with what it is trying to achieve. Many expeditions are planned from the House of Undying to go deeper into the Thousand Eyes and study it further, at their own risk.
