Dagorn Balefrost
The silver elf known as Dagorn grew up as an orphan, later becoming captain of a crew of monster hunters, and marrying a an elven woman named Talulah. Tragically, when Dagorn's group was misled by a cult of Hydra worshippers, Talulah was killed, leading Dagorn to start down a darker path of becoming an assassin. After unknowingly killing the Kingdom of Shegoth's king, Dagorn was captured and put aboard a Crescent Empire prison ship, where he eventually met the other members of what would become the Companions.
Becoming a skilled rogue and master of aeromancy, Dagorn would go on to unravel the mystery of The Silver City and free the world from the disease of Black Vein. During his adventures with the Companions, he also began a romantic relationship with the Crescentian privateer Pace Starset.
During his journey, Dagorn died at the hands of a Clay Golem, but managed to be resurrected by the party.
When Nex - The Screaming Tyrant returned to the mortal realm in 1001 3A, Dagorn was one of the first to lead the defense against the Fallen Ancient. He became a champion of the Ancient Arkos - The StormBringer; while also making a pact with the Fallen Ancient Vaati - The Cruel Confidant in order to ascertain the knowledge needed to defeat Nex and free the Silver Elves from Nex's control.
After Nex was banished from the mortal realm, Dagorn held up his end of his pact with Vaati by entering into the service of Pontius Mengsk of Oreion. Before saying farewell to his friends, Dagorn gave a tremendous sum of money to one Count Oilncroft in order to cause trouble for the Oreion Inquisition. Dagorn's actions before meeting the Companions and the secretive nature of his sudden departure caused a rift in the Companions that has yet to heal, though none can deny his bravery and heroism in the face of certain destruction.
