The Tribes of Gershon, or simply Gershonites, are a collection of four tribes that are located in the lands of Gershon. Their ways are often seen as strange to neighboring nations, and nations across the seas. The Gershonites are the main power in the lands surrounding Gershon.Description
The Gershonites are divided into four distinct tribes: the Gurgon Tribe, The Kharaz Tribe, the Sihran Tribe, and the Zethamite Tribe. Each of the four tribes are named after their forebearers. The Gershonites rule over the lands of Gershon, being the inheritors after receiving a divine decree to claim it. The Gershonites split the land into different territories inhabited by three of the Gershon tribes, while the four would receive a large number of cities within each domain. The western lands would be inherited by the Kharaz tribe, while the eastern lands would be inherited by the Sihran tribe. The middle lands went to the Gurgon tribe. The Zethamites tribe received about 48 cities and surrounding lands within each domain as their own to be governed as they please. The Zethamites also inherited the guardianship of the sacred Marpe Waters.Government
The system of government of the Gershonites is a federation of leaders forming an decentralized government, with power being shared in the High Government. The High Government consist of Councilors elected to represent the interests of the four tribes, and handle the affairs of representing Gershonites to other nations. Outside of this, each tribe governs according to how they please. Commonly, there is government of leaders of each tribe overseeing the day-to-day affairs of their tribe.
