Aspicientis

Aspicientis is a land of adventure and intrigue, forged from the ruins of a world ravaged by chaos and tyranny.

Following the devastation wrought by Derukoskai, the Tyrant, once-powerful kingdoms and empires were obliterated and their histories erased. Yet, from the ashes of destruction, the Outsiders of the Dragonfly emerged, rejecting the Tyrant's legacy and establishing the nation of Aspicientis. 
Today, Aspicientis is governed by a network of city-states that adhere to the laws set forth by the Dragonflies.

Structure

Each city-state within Aspicientis is led by a Mayor, who functions similarly to a President. The position of Mayor is renewed every three years, with incumbents allowed to run for re-election if they choose.  The Mayor may appoint a Secretary of State, who is responsible for implementing the Mayor's decisions once they have been approved by the Law Department of the Dragonflies, if such approval is required.
The Law Department of the Dragonflies holds ultimate authority over national legislation. It is responsible for final rulings on requests to amend local laws within the city-states and acts as a form of oversight government.

Public Agenda

The primary goal of Aspicientis is to reverse the damage inflicted by the Tyrant and restore the world to its former glory.  Numerous laws and initiatives have been introduced since the Fall of Derukoskai, focusing on recovering lost history and furthering the unification of the nation.

Technological Level

Aspicientis is a realm of high magic and advanced arcane technology.  The Dragonflies are at the forefront of magical innovation, having pioneered numerous advancements in technology through the application of magic.  These innovations include, but are not limited to:

• Novus Demons and respective Novus Energy.
