Kultór Castle Town

A town founded around the castle wherein dwells Azhara Muria. A self proclaimed Dragon Queen who some years ago stepped into the realm of Godhood but remains upon the material plane to watch over the land where she found her calling. A castle forged of precious metals and protected with a jealous zeal not only by the Dragoness but by her knights, gathered to serve and defend the land and the people upon it, rapidly dispatched to defend any in need through the Queen’s omnipresent eyes over her lands, assuming of course, that their need is deemed worthy.   This Castle rests high above the city proper and serves as an aerie, home, and base of operations for the Draconic Knighthood that serves the land.

Kultór Port and Dockside Market

The city port serves as a pathway into the city that runs from a river to the sea that has been widened through less than natural means over the years in order to allow more effective passage while bridges and paths for both animals and more cultured denizens of the land remain. The Port does much of the trade that brings the majority of the domains income to the city thanks to the ease of access it provides for trade. This port remains the most closely monitored section of the city for the Knighthood thanks to the Queen’s frequent visits and the natural risk that comes with it supporting the primary marketplace of the city.

The Goldwater Bridge

The Great Bridge that crosses the river over a great swathe of water with legs that stand in its deepest waters. It stands far more as a symbol of the City’s dedication to creating a great and lasting mark upon the realm, and exists as testament to the great skill that was employed in the creation of The City of Kultór, both by the Queen herself and the artisans that became its first residents. The Great Bridge is unique in its design as the great limbs that support it beneath the waves were hand forged by Azhara, but the entire Bridge above the waves was forged by mortal artisans and named for the sunset and dawn each day painting the river it covers in golden light.

Thoroughfare

The Thoroughfare of Kultór Castle Town, settled at the center of the city and reaching far longer than any other road does. Beginning or ending at the Castle gates themselves bathed in golden light and dragonflame torchlight to the Goldwater Bridge at the edge of the town, bathed in a more natural light at nearly all hours of the day. Lining the road, passerbys may see a higher density of the City-state’s nobility and likely more of the Knight Cadets on leave from their training outside the walls thanks in no small part to the many businesses that thrive in the high population density found along this road.   Sometimes called The Gold Road, but far more often known simply as the Thoroughfare or The Queen’s Road, it’s no exaggeration to say that if the port is the lifeblood of the city, this road is its beating heart.

The Dragon Knight’s Academy

The Academy founded by the Queen with aid from her consort, this is not a school of traditional knighthood but rather one specialized in creation of Dragon Knights, warriors who pursue Knighthood's highest calling, Dragonslaying. Perhaps it is truer to say that this place was founded to insure that the queen would never fall from her place as Dragon Queen, these knights both defend the city and hunt the chromatic dragons that remain within its reach. Nestled at the edges of the city, built into a mountain and covering a fair swathe of land to allow no shortage of space for the Knights-in-training and their instructors to drill.

Armor of The Dragon Knights

Cadets
The Armor worn by knight cadets and knights in training, this armor is far, far cheaper to produce and closer by far to half-plate than the other armors worn by the knights of Kultór. Offering limited protection and no protection from elemental attacks, the armor is even less ornamental than that of the officially knighted members of the Knighthood.
Knights
The armor worn by lower ranking knights, considerably easier to produce and to a degree offering better protection from traditional weapons, this armor is much more traditional plate.
Knight Captains
The armor worn by Captain Ranked Knights, designed to resemble draconic nature but more ornamental than perhaps a more traditional Platemail while offering protection from elemental attacks.
