War For Atalan

Shortly after the Walren started to become close allies with the Sibrians, it became apparent that the Sibrians could not expand their borders past what they already had due to various independent and other trade organizations occupying their surrounding space. And thus the Walren decided to help them gain a foothold closer to the other major civilizations in the galaxy, by taking over the Atalanti Republic. When they declared war the Saurians came to their aid by default due to a defensive pact they had made, ending the nearly 50 years of peace that had passed since the Xanvau Extermination War. The war quickly escalated, both sides calling many allies to their aid. Eventually the Kadar even joined in, hoping to finally take down the Walren while they were distracted, however their forces had been greatly weakened by the Xanvau and this was not successful.
The war began with the Walren instigated Battle of Aitalyn and ended with The Siege of Jgenik.
