Lakanaba
Lakanaba is a small trading and farming settlement along the Iron Highway in the Kingdom of Endor. Lakanaba is at the junction of several major roadways and a town sprung up here in the fertile lands of central Endor. The town sees many travelers and boasts a robust farming community.
Lakanaba is several days travel north of Endor, the First Mountain, along the Iron Highway which then turns eastwards towards Dremru's Crossing. To the north is Fort Johanna along the roadway leading to the Halfling Fields. To the west is the seaward road leading to the coastal settlement Varr Kazid. To the northwest is the Gorl Forest where the Tribe of the Golden Fur reside.
History
The Fifth Age: The Age of Beginnings
Around 5A 050, Petra D'Silva came to Lakanaba to settle a dispute between a gnomish farmer and a half-orc. While here, she initiated contact with the Tribe of the Golden Fur gnolls, who had occupied the nearby Gorl Forest. Petra negotiated a tentative agreement between the citizenry of Lakanaba and the Golden Fur gnolls. On 28 Felim 5A 352, the Lost Vessel Seekers passed through Lakanaba, which had largely closed itself off in preparation for an oncoming winter storm. They would later travel through Lakanaba again on their way back south.
