Crescent Island

Demographics

The current residents of Crescent Island are only a handful of fire Genasi. However, the earlier residents consisted of around 2,000 islanders, mainly humans and dwarves. Most were able to escape the wrath of the "Rift Divergence" while the rest were either sucked into it or died.
The ones that were able to escape pushed away the ones that turned to fire Genasi, thinking that they have caused the wrath of the gods against them.
The earlier residents used to live in relative peace, they were mainly sailors and fishermen, and that's how they escaped.

Government

The previous government was based on a tribal structure, with the head of the tribe ruling over his people. When the "Rift Divergence" hit, the head of the tribe was the first to shun the Genasi away, claiming that this was prophesized and that they need to remain alone on the island. He organized the boats as fast as possible and left with the survivors as refugees to Zakhara.

Infrastructure

Crescent Island had multiple ports and trade stations, they were all destroyed with the "Rift Divergence", what remains is only a few ram shackled huts for the remaining Genasi, they struggle with fishing and they only rely on the few fruits that are still harvestable.

Natural Resources

Crescent Island was known for its variety of fruits, however most stopped growing after the "Rift Divergence", but now a new type of cherry has mutated, the "Bloodnut Cherry", which have gained magical properties. The fire Genasi can feast on them unaffected, but it is yet unknown what they would do to any other race or creature.
