Lizards Bay
Demographics
The Lizardfolk of Lizards bay were a fierce pack of scattered villages and tribes. Lizardfolk rarely allowed anyone inside their swamps, but still interacted with other towns and cities, especially Flourtorn, where they had an agreement and traded fish for bread.
All Lizardfolk were trained in combat and were able to defend themselves in most situations. They were also great fishermen and swimmers, as all the small enclaves were connected by swampy waters.

Government
Lizards bay was based around an extremely matriarchal tribal society, were each small enclave would have an elder to rule over it. Families would create new enclaves when they felt they were too big to remain in their current enclave. Each enclave spanned around 4 generations, with the 5th creating a new enclave when they get married.
Elders would rarely meetup to discuss matters, as all enclaves were self sufficient, however there was a weekly Lizards-Gathering & market (In the Ionghard), where the lizardfolk would trade goods and socialize to strengthen bonds between enclaves. In these meetups, information and updates on enclaves would be shared, to make sure that everyone was well fed and protected.

Infrastructure
Being in a swamp, most huts were made of wood and were raised a few feet above the ground, but still close to the edges of the water as that would connect all the huts together, and in turn connect all the enclaves would each other.
The Lizardfolk would also use the swamp as a means of transportation, where they would make boats from giant lily pads to move stock between enclaves and into the "Ionghard".

Districts
There are three main district types in Lizards Bay:
The Fishing Districts are where the Lizardfolk's primary source of food comes from. These districts consist of a network of small waterways and canals where the Lizardfolk go fishing. They use various fishing techniques, including spears, nets, and traps, and are skilled at catching fish, crabs, and other aquatic creatures. The district is also home to fish-drying huts and smokehouses where the fish are preserved for future use. Closely related enclaves shared the same fishing district. Districts were normally rotated as to avoid overfishing.
The Enclave Districts are where the Lizardfolk live. They are a network of small, interconnected enclaves, each with its own leader or elder. Each enclave is self-sufficient, with its own set of huts, gardens, and fishing spots. The enclaves are arranged in a way that makes it easy for the Lizardfolk to travel between them via the waterways. These districts are where the Lizardfolk spend most of their time, and it is where their social structures and cultural practices are most visible.
The Ionghard is the heart of Lizards Bay, and it is where the Lizardfolk come together to socialize, trade, and share information. It is a large, central area where the Lizardfolk gather on a weekly basis to sell and trade goods, share news, and build relationships. The Ionghard is also where Lizardfolk boats come together to transport goods and resources between enclaves and other outside cities. The Ionghard is a bustling and lively place, and it is an essential part of the Lizardfolk's way of life.
