    The daughter of Oather I, Princess Maria would become Maria I, the first queen regnant of Eremere. However, her role was largely symbolic as her court was manipulated by her husband Brandon Anders, who stole the throne after her death.

    Prince Oather was the son of Queen Maria I and her consort, Brandon Anders. His house, controversially, was his mother's, and upon her death his father took the crown for himself and handed it to his sons of his own house. This began the War of the Marian Succession. His exile and failure to take his crown back gave him the names 'the Exile' and 'the King that Never Was.'

    Queen Maria I Dies

    Queen Maria I of Eremere dies. Her legal heir, Prince Oather, is denied the crown as his father Brandon, of House Anders, takes it for himself and his sons of his house. This sparks the War of the Marian Succession.

    Prince Brayman is Born

    Prince Brayman was the son of King Brandon I and his second wife Layora Masters. Brayman would inherit the throne in 741, his rule plagued by the War of the Marian Succession against his brother Oather and his nephew Midah.

    War of the Marian Succession

    Queen Maria I, of House Syrincore, had married Earl Brandon Anders and had one son with him, of House Syrincore. Upon her death, Anders stole his son Oather's throne for himself, remarried, and passed the crown to his children of House Anders. Thus sparked the conflict.

    Prince Midah, son of the exiled Prince Oather, was the second man to fight for his throne against the usurpers of House Anders. In 793, with the good luck surrounding King Brayman's death, he succeeded in overthrowing his cousin King Brandon II. He was responsible for the obliteration of House Anders.

    King Brandon I Dies

    King Brandon I, of House Anders, who controlled his wife Maria's throne before taking it from their son upon her death, dies at age 52. The throne passes to his second son, Brayman I, who continues the War of the Marian Succession against Brandon's first son Oather.

    Prince Adair, son of the exiled Prince Oather and brother of King Midah III, was born in the midst of the War of the Marian Succession. His birth, as the second son of an exiled claimant, was not considered that important, but following his brother's success in the civil war and death shortly after, he became King Adair II.

    Prince Brandon, who would become King Brandon II, is born to King Brayman. He was the last king of House Anders following his defeat in the War of the Marian Succession and subsequent execution in 793.

    Prince Aldred's father never expected to king, and neither did Aldred. Nevertheless, following King Midah III's victory in the War of the Marian Succession, Aldred's father Adair became heir and then king, as did Aldred.

    King Brayman I Dies

    King Brayman I, son of Brandon, dies at age 52 of the same illness that took his father, at the same age. These coincidences shifted the War of the Marian Succession in Midah's favour, as thousands viewed them as a divine curse and abandoned King Brayman's son Brandon II.

    King Brandon II, who opposed pretenders Midah and Adair, is captured by the brothers and executed. His death marked the end of the reign of House Anders and the War of the Marian Succession.

    After taking back his birthright, Midah died just six years later at age 62. Childless, he was succeeded by his brother Adair II.

    King Adair II, son of the exiled Oather and brother to Midah III, dies at age 60. His reign was seen as the most peaceful for over a century, and he was succeeded by his son Aldred I.
