Brelt is a republic1 in eastern Ójom, bordered by countries of Biþræ to the north, Nóbralúk to the south and east, Terúk to the southwest, and Kikra beyond the river Úkún to the west. Centered on the river Þög, its capital is the city of Últart to the east, and the current president is Jaajort.
The country's inhabitants are of predominantly goblin descent, namely the Gúhúkans to the northeast and Gújúkans to the southwest, along with a significant minority of Narúrtic Dwarves. The culture of the former two are quite distinct from their neighbours; for instance, gúhúkans and gújúkans are the only remaining vibrant communities of river goblinic speakers, a branch of goblinic languages that developed during the empire of Onþók, when goblin territory reached much further inland than it does today.
Brelt is the poorest country in Narúrt, most of its economy is based on agriculture (particularly onions and barley), aquaculture, and the production of the fizzy Salmono and krúrúlt, a kind of goblin ale. Salmono is well known outside of Jælondis due to being served at the restaurant chain Þreba's Seafood, while krúrúlt is popular throughout Narúrt and parts of Ytvía.

Structure

Brelt is divided into three provinces (órdaar), two of which encompass the areas with gúhúkans or gújúkans majority, respectively, and a third around the capital.

Ekrerórdaar

Gúhic/gújic: Ekrerórdaar /ekheɹouɹɖaːɹ/
Ekrerórdaar functions as a capital district and a neutral zone between the two main ethnic groups, located in the eastern part of the country.

Iltúbórdaar

Gúhic/gújic: Iiltúbórdaar /ɪːlɗʉbouɹɖaːɹ/
Iiltúbórdaar covers the northeastern part of Brelt, north of the river Þög, encompassing the area and settlements mainly inhabited by gúhúkans.

Þrúxartórdaar

Gúhic/gújic: Þrúxartórdaar /θɹʉʃaɹouɹɖaːɹ/
Þrúxartórdaar covers southeastern Brelt, encompassing the region which the gújúkans are traditionally associated with. Much of the country's barley is produced there.

1While officially a republic, Brelt has been ruled by Jaajort after abolishing the term limit 22 years ago.
