Terúk is a republic on the Þnisic coast in southeastern Ójom and one of the most powerful goblin countries in Jælondis along with Biþræ to the north. The capital Þrín is one of the oldest goblin settlements in Ójom and has been the center of a number of states throughout history, most notably Æþúb and the empire of Onþók.
The inhabitants are of predominantly goblin descent, along with a significant minority of Narúrtic Dwarves, whose ancestors belonged to a caste of stonemasons and brewers within the empires of Onþók and Ama.
Since the Fell Wars some forty years ago, Terúk has become a major economic, political and cultural power in Jælondis and Borgalor in general, with terúkan music, TV series, cuisine and jewelry being quite popular around the world.

Infrastructure
Terúk is divided into two provinces, namely Igigólrortar in the hinterlands along the lower Hlejó River to the northwest and the east bank of the river Úkún on one hand, and Logærtortar encompassing the river delta and coastal region to the southeast, each of which are further divided into numerous counties.
While roads connect certain settlements to the capital, particularly to the north, the vast majority of people and goods are transported via the sea, rivers and canals, as much of the terrain is unsuitable for travel on horse or coach.
