Jolþ

Jolþic: Jolþ /jɔːlθ/
Ælic: Njol /ɲɔːl/
Þamtic: Jolð /jɔːlð/
Erenic: Ilhúna Jolþ /ɪːlhuːna jɔːlθ/

Jolþ is one of the three countries of the Þjaric Elves in northwestern Jælondis, located in southern Þjaris and borders the river Mænas to the south -which forms the southern boundaries of Þjaris-, the hills of Lælf to the southeast, Qug Mountains to the east, and the countries of Ælea to the north and Æjala beyond the river Njalpaða to the northwest.
Jolþ's capital is the city of Isaðep, the largest settlement north of Mænas, located to the north at the confluence of Njalpaða and one of its tributaries.
The country has long been the center of agriculture in the region due to having a climate mild enough to support large scale cultivation of millet, beans, acorns, mushrooms, bulbs of various flowering plants and vegetables, and more recently with the rise of Laræn-Taþvún Group and rapid industrialization has become a significant producer of various crystal-powered devices such as phones, computers and video game consoles, including the popular Flux console.

History

At the time the þjaric elves withdrew from the rest of Jælondis and entered a long period of isolation centuries ago, what is now Jolþ was a league of small kingdoms between the rivers Mænas and Njalpaða, namely Haðúlún, Kælilþ, Þlar and Þvos, all of which shared a common language and culture.
Over time, as the power of Kælilþ grew due to its capital of Isaðep being the meeting place for the kings, the league transformed into a hegemony, with only the kælilþían rulers retaining the title of tíhlan or monarch while the others have been reduced to something more akin to governors, officially known as clan leaders or silran. While now a de facto monarchy, the Jolþi still refer to their country by the name of the old league and regard it as such.
Since Jolþ and the other þjaric countries ended their period of isolationism to aid their elven cousins in the Fell Wars, Jolþ in particular has industrialized and the jolþi adapted certain aspect of modern lifestyle to their own culture over the last decades.
