K'aflúll Hills
Kikrönic: K'aflúll /kʼaːfluɮ/
Njóþic: K'aflúll /kʼaːflulː/ Þrínic: Gaþúl /kaːθulː/
The K'aflúll Hills is a region in central Ójom in mideastern Jælondis, roughly midway between the Qug Mountains to the east and the river Úkún to the west, though a little closer to the latter.
The hills were originally inhabited by tribes of Humans from Ytvía to the southwest, who were later on driven out or gradually assimilated by Dwarves migrating in waves from the Qug Mountains to much of eastern and southern Jælondis, and today the region is home to two of the main groups of these ójomic Lowland Dwarves, namely the Kikrans to the north and Njóþans to the south. Small communities of human foragers and later shepherds survived in the more remote parts of the K'aflúll Hills as vassals of different dwarven rulers up until the eight century BF.
Today, the region is known for its numerous castles, towers, fortified temples and monasteries dating back to when the inhabitants were at war with the goblin empire of Onþók, during which they managed to halt the latter's expansion up the rivers from the Þnisic coast to the east for centuries. Many of these sites, especially the castles, have become popular tourist destinations in recent decades, as has the city of Llaz, capital of Kikra.
