Aries
Aries claims to be the eldest of the Celestial, and claiming otherwise is considered blasphemy among his devoted followers. He is a god of law, order and tradition - of building a strong society and maintaining it. He is a god of the forge, of making tools for work and weapons for war. In his softer, private moments he is also a god of fatherfood. He cares for his children - Helia, Elara, Castor, and Pollux - as well as his grandchildren, Cressida and Celestia. This aspect is however rarely discussed, as shows of affection are considered private.
In the Dwarven Empire Aries has always been one of the most worshipped gods, but he has also seen rising popularity among the various peoples of the Alyssian surface following the fall of The Alyssian Empire. His rivalry with Amalthea was represented in the material plane by the rivalry between the empires, and his followers claimed the fall proved his superiority. People thrown into chaos, stripped of the world they knew, are also easily persuaded to follow a god that stands against change.
