Hillside Square

Residential neighborhood, managed to remain low density despite its age and proximity to Aerbright center. This is because prior to I-10 being relocated into tunnel, it separated this almost a suburb from the rest of the city. Now that links to downtown are restored, land value here has exploded and high-rise development begins to creep into neighborhood, but so far have been limited.
Very expensive and exclusive neighborhood, snaking along Mira bank and with a view of the Monument Island. It's quiet, commute is easy, there are parks where highway used to be. It's great, but old houses are, well, old, and rent in the new ones is prohibitive. An old guard who lived here for decades regards new neighbors with sneering suspicion.
