Wheat Valley
Former wheat fields swallowed by the city. Construction during 50s boom was frantic, and development of this district was particularly chaotic.
It's a district of contrasting imagery - office high-rises next to dilapidated grain silos, 30-story residential towers side-by-side with private homes, empty fields among a row of malls. People commute out of neighborhood for the day en masse, usually by bus and subway.
