Almar was learned of by Phoenix when studying ancient deities. It then became her lifelong goal to free him. After over 3 decades of researching and preparing, Phoenixhad prepared everything except the final piece of freeing Almar, but was stopped temporarily by a party of 5 heroes, including Panacea Ithaca. She exposed the death toll of their rebellion before releasing Almar. Later, she aided Almar in destroying Olmis and sealing her away.

Phoenix was married to Einalix when she was 20 and he was 22. She initially wanted nothing to do with him, but eventually fell for him after several years of seeing his brother's reign. The two eventually had their children afterwards. The two are very faithful to each other, even if Phoenix flirts with every person she meets.

Taros and Phoenix are twin siblings, with Phoenix having been born first by a few minutes. Taros found their father's mistreatment of Phoenix due to her gender unfair, but didn't say much to allow himself to got to a Meru academy, where he would steal older books from the library to give to Phoenix so she could learn. Some time before Phoenix married Einalix, he was hired by Einalix's aging father to be the court High Mage for Einalix's tyrannical brother. The twins' father saw this as an opportunity to get rid of Phoenix by marrying her off to Einalix. Taros helped Phoenix and Einalix's rebellion in secret until he was discovered, at which point he had to kill them, the couple's children, and himself with a spell he invented, Fire Storm. After becoming Inamorta, he helped take over Driftveil.

Iduna once attacked Menrva during its early days, having been brainwashed into thinking Menrvan forces slaughtered her tribe and others nearby. However, after learning the truth, she immediately apologized personally and simply wished for them do be merciful to her. Phoenix, knowing her trauma, allowed her a seat in the Darke Council. To this day, Iduna still thinks she needs to make up for her crimes against Menrva, although Phoenix sees no need, because Iduna was brainwashed after extreme trauma into being an acive adversary.

The two met when Elivia joined the Darke Council, Elivia having heard amazing stories of 400 years before when the Darke Council saved Hel from an Olmisian invasion to exterminate Malus.
