King Vero
King Vero Tenmen (a.k.a. The Just)
King Vero is the currently reigning King of Doreymos. With a solid reputation for being fair and cutting through needless red tape to get things done, he's widely popular among the majority of the city, and has personally enacted many policies improving the lives of people in all the districts. However, he still has his detractors and rivals, largely from groups who believe the law should be immutable or who twist the law as needed. That is to say, while well liked, he isn't entirely safe from retribution for his unilateral actions.

General Physical Condition
King Vero is physically fit. He doesn't show or have much reason to show his physical capability, but he does at least keep himself in good shape.
Facial Features
Vero wears a will-trimmed beard, kept to around his chin, but otherwise has no easily identifiable features.
Apparel & Accessories
King Vero is most often found to be in his ornamental king's cloak, a white robe tied around the waist with a belt and a gold and silver crown on his head. Outside of the courts and public appearances, he wears a more casual vest and trousers with a white shirt, and often forgoes the crown altogether, seeming to prefer to look like just another person when not required to.

Personal history
Born in The 8th District to a middle-class family, Vero had a largely uneventful childhood. However, from an early age, he displayed a natural aptitude for leadership, personally forming his block's representative caucus at the tender age of 13. By the time he reached adulthood, he'd already set his sights on becoming a politician, and soon after joined the representative council for the 8th District. He rose to prominence as the head of house, earning a reputation for being a fair and highly intentional leader who always spoke out for those most in need. A few years after, the old King passed away in an accident, and as the process to choose the new King began, it was clear from the very outset that Vero was the most suitable choice. He won support from all the districts except The 3rd District and The 1st District, easily receiving enough votes to be declared the victor and crowned as king. He's ruled as a fairly (if not universally) popular King for the past seven years.
Education
Vero received a comprehensive standard education from public schooling, as well as additional woodcarving training from his father. He also attended The Scaleborn College for five years, graduating from the school's Political Science program, and has additional training as a politician, specializing in welfare distribution, from his time in the 8th District house of representatives.

Vero seems to prioritize the needs of as many people as he can, and rarely makes any decisions that would benefit only himself. He performs the duties of his station so as to fulfill the duties he was elected for, and to improve the lives of the whole city as much as is within his ability.
