DLVSBS01E030 - "Misguided Ghosts" Report

General Summary

Previously, in Dragonlance: Starbound

The party pressed on upwards in Phaendar's tower and followed the ruckus to an studio on the top floor, where they faced off a fire and a powerful Vrock demon. The party was almost overwhelmed, but defeated their unholy foe with the help of ranger Lachadis Mirran. Thanks to Elyadan's attempt to save an elf from the roaring fire, the party managed to recover a map from the tower that gave them a direction of where the missing Captain Phaendar might have gone to. Crossing the Thon-thalas river, the party marched through the abandoned woods of eastern Silvanesti towards the location on the map. After almost two days of marching, the party found Phaendar in battle with intrincatelly armored elves that were intent on killing the captain and his two companions, Lochlin Sognir and Anithir Aileach. After the battle, the Captain explained to his companions that he was on a quest to save his wife, Rothruin Riverrain, following the directions of her starjewel. When confronted with the possiblity of being deceived by an extra-planar entity, Phaendar lashed out on his friends. After some discussion, it was agreed the party will accompany Phaendar in his quest, under the condition that he come back to Kiranost afterwards and report to Captain Harunir Treeshade and Ranger-General Haldir Stormbreaker.
