Stygia, The Fifth Level of Hell

Stygia is a frozen wasteland with biting winds and freezing air. A great churning sea like that of Phlegethos the Fourth Level of Helldose exist beneath thick ice filled all manner of fiendish creatures. But rarely do denizens venture into those waters as they will kill and freeze all that venture into them. A diabolical cold covers the land of this level making it impossible to escape it, even fire will only bring greater cold to those that light it. Those guilty of the sin of Envy find their way here, forced to forever freeze and envy those warmer souls in the the other levels.
