Requirements
The futur Crown Prince has to be the prince who is first-in-line to a throne and is expected to succeed, barring any unforeseen future event preventing this. As for Crown Princess, she has to marry a Crown Prince or to be the King 's only child.
Appointment
A prince is raised to the rank of Crown Prince by the King, shortly after his parents' coronation if he is considered educated enough.
