Qualifications
To be qualified as a Duke, someone has to study under private tutors, mainly the Royal Tutors.
Requirements
The future Duke or Duchess has to be born from a noble family or to marry a Duke or a Duchess. Dukes are often chosen amongst the members of the royal family who are not the heir.
Appointment
The Dukes are appointed by the King during a ceremony presided over by the
Master of Ceremony.
Duties
The Duke and Duchess have to be loyal to the King, follow his orders and show their alliegeance. They have to protect the royal family and the kingdom.
Responsibilities
The Duke rules a large portion of the kingdom, a Duchy. The Duke is in charge of running that portion of land by order of the monarch, handling the overall business of that piece of the country.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
A Duke can be dismissed if he didn't fulfill his duties.
