Requirements
The Solicitor-General has to be law-abiding and very precise. He should be respectable.
Appointment
He is appointed by the King and the Lord Chancellor. There is no particular ceremony.
Duties
He is the councilor on hand to give the monarch legal advice. He is supposed to serve the realm.
Responsibilities
The Solicitor-General represents the monarch in court if needed and acts as a law advisor.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
This councillor can be dismissed by the King or the Lord Chancellor.
