King Consort, Queen Consort
Qualifications
Any candidate has to get a proper education from the Royal Tutors.
Requirements
To become a King's consort, one has to marry a
Crown Prince or a King, which means the futur consort has to be from a noble family with a very good personal reputation.
Appointment
The person raised to this rank is appointed by their spouse, either during the monarch's coronation or on their wedding day.
Duties
The main duties of a consort is to give an heir to the realm. The consort also has to give their support to their spouse and take care of the royal family's image.
Responsibilities
The consort has to assume ceremonial responsibilities and sometimes the role of Lord Protector.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
The consort stops being one when their spouse is not king anymore. They then become Queen Mother (King Father) or, in case of their spouse's death, Queen (King) Dowager.
