Tirinasi
"Do, please, do go ahead. Underestimate me. It'll only make what comes next that much more pleasing."Tirinasi to Olanna, allegedly
Tirinasi is the god of pride and position. He saw that, although Mannaret seemed to stand as the most natural leader among the Meydra, his position was not official, and Tirinasi deeply desired prestige, seeing himself as the most charismatic, intelligent, and capable among them. So he began campaigning in secret, trying to discreetly win the favor of as many Meydra as possible. Finally, he came forth saying that a leader should be chosen, thinking the Meydra would naturally look to him. However, the Meydra generally responded that Evendur was the only one whose teachings they need follow, and in a time of crisis, Mannaret could be counted on to lead them in battle. According to legend, Tirinasi was affronted and went to Madjei for assistance. Madjei gave him a potion of charming that he promised was powerful enough for a god, but Tirinasi was caught before he could successfully administer it to anyone. The potion was taken and locked away in an unknown location. At this time Tirinasi instead turned his attention towards the mortal world, and commanded great respect in the scant humanoid settlements that were forming. The very concept of nobility is sometimes said to have been his invention. Tirinasi is patron to all who desire position above all else, and is depicted as a nobleman in elaborate purple and golden clothing with a crown of glass on his head.
Relationships
Tirinasi was son of Suvrik and Brell, and his brother was Uskad. He had relations with Djudla-Mei which resulted in two daughters, Shard and Lunagi.
Followers
Tirinasi's followers are stereotypically assumed to be nobles who desire more power and authority than they already have, but he is also prayed to by those of lesser position who dream of rising to greater power. His following is quite diverse, though clerics are rare.
