Morana, Lady of Death
by AuthorChase on HeroForge
The Lady of Death fled Magick Glades after the failure of the first invasion. She built Necrom Hollows soon after with the help of her necromancers. Once it was complete, Morana noticed how the death magic mist affected the wildlife around the Hollows. They died amass as the mist penetrated their bodies, decaying their insides. She still held a love for animal life, so she fed them pieces of her hair, particularly the foxes.
These foxes were transformed, turning into a species that fed on death magic and the Lady of Death. Feeding the creatures Morana's hair during their conception empowered them because they used the Decaying of Bones. Morana named them Fecrox.
Necromancer Companions
Morana found her necromancers taking care of the fecroxes with great interest. The livelihood of the species seemed to depend on this care, so Morana decreed necromancers would have a assigned animal companion. Few could do so, but a fecrox bonded with a rare few.

These rare few spent most of their time in Necrom Hollows to further bond with their fecrox. It was rare for these necromancers to be deployed, but the second Magick Glades invasion was where they excelled.
Diet
Fecrox diet comprised death magic and rotten meat. Even with Morana's love for animals, she noticed how healthy fecroxes became after consuming an animal with rotten flesh. The death magic mist sped up the body decomposing process, leading to more food for fecroxes to eat. The spell that fecroxes fed on was Decaying of Bones.
Biology
Fecroxes had sickly green fur with areas that had a vomit like color. Their claws were strong, but rotting bone. They could still slice through flesh like any other sharpened sword, along with their rotting teeth. Their eyes glowed a stunning green, mimicing Morana's own.
