United Houses of Chandria
A gnome haven, Chandria occupies a rolling hills region with many rivers, lakes and grassy plains known as the Toruga Basin. On the southern side lies the upper parts of the Central Highlands and the landscape becomes closer to savannah biome. Gnome cities tend to be very small and decide on things as a council with representatives from each hillock.
Structure
The denizens of Chandria aren't exactly fans of strict organizations but in a general sense each city is governed by a council of the major houses that reside within it, and as for the country as a whole a council is formed from each of the houses. In general though there is very little overarching government and each city is responsible to themselves.
Culture
With the population being predominantly gnomes and other fae beings spontaneity, creativity, and freedom are highly valued. This being the case while most other guilds are welcome in Chandrian cities the Mage's Guild has yet to get a foothold in any of the cities due to their controlling nature.

With the large amount of fae beings residing in both countries and their propensity for a free spirited nature there is an official border between the two countries, but in practice the two countries are very close and trade and travel freely.

The major trade route along the Terstone River encourages these countries to work together.

Pleasant relationship as the Varanasi protect the trade routes used by the Chandrians down the Terstone River.

For the most part as long as each respects their borders the relationship is amicable.
