One of the original races on Erethes, Gnomes are at the forefront of technological advancement.
Gnomes are one of the more advanced races on Erethes, Largely being associated with things like advanced firearms, airships and various gizmos that are used in everyday life. They also helped create the barrier around Timesreach, Along with the keys to access it. They are one of the more celebrated races on Erethes, Having a reputation for being trustworthy, Reliable and overall useful to society as a whole. There are multiple variations of Gnome, Forest, Rock, Deep and Shadow. Deep and Shadow-lurker gnomes have separate articles, So I'll only give a quick summary of Forest and Rock.
Rock Gnomes are known for their genius and creativity, often being the source of the gnomes reputations. Because of this, Rock Gnomes are the more common variant. They are the ones that run most major cities, And are the ones that run most of the factories and businesses relating to their race.
Forest Gnomes are less common, Preferring to live in small towns inside of deep forest areas, Mostly in Athrae, Takahara and Drengrheim. They regard the Elves as their spirit kin, And thus the most common place to see a Forest Gnome is in one of the many elven cities or groups.

Gnomes share naming conventions with Halflings, Taking their names from their home region mixed with more Gnome sounding names. (Ex. Seeing a Gnome named Tadahiro Brightbarrel, Aya Springtopple, Flavius Freeseeker or Agamedes Truewillow.)
Major Organizations
Gnomes are one of the few races that have large cities of their own, Some of which are currently standing in Athrae, Ach' Mastul, The Axtrian Pits and Drengrheim.
