The Laws of Eshor
There is magic. Its exact source is not well understood, but various theories exist that explain the mechanics of how it functions.
A variety of powerful entities exist. Some are worshipped, or feared, as gods, while others are distinctly lesser beings - still vastly beyond the power of most mortals, but not on the scale of the gods. Some of these serve the gods directly, while others serve their own interests.
Cosmology
Don't know yet. For my immediate plans, it won't be all that relevant.
Principal Geography & Features
The region around immediately around the city will be farmland, as one would expect of a city of the era. Farther areas of the territory will include forests and reach into some low mountains, beyond which lie the lands of city state's most bitter rival. Fairly standard medieval geography, honestly, that's not the main focus for this region.
Initial Active Setting
At first, the focus will be fairly tight, on a region no wider than a few hundred kilometers, centred on the city state mentioned above.
