The One Hundred

In the years following the foundation of the Empire the relative strengths and influence of the Immortals had become a hotly debated topic among the common folk of the World. Over time many unofficial lists were formed and contested until, in the wake of the upheaval caused by the Cataclysm, the Immortal Foundation created what would become known as the list of what they called the One Hundred. Each was measured not only by strength but by influence and recent activity in order to take into account the many missing or inactive Immortals who used to skew the rankings with their powers. In order to ensure a non-biased result the Foundation constructed a mighty machine to collate information and poll random citizens to determine public opinion and since it's creation, barring a few minor repairs and upgrades, this machine has been responsible for every list ever published. Today the list stands as the most recognised and comprehensive list in all of the world.
