Gab
Gab is a suburb that desperately wants to be like the two much richer and more successful suburbs bordering it. It wants to excel in entertainment like Momma and in manufacturing like Alsun. It ends up being performing mediocrely in both areas, with products and services generally considered decent, but "just not as good as" the competition. This results in people from other suburbs referring to Gab derogatorily as the "Gap", referring to the gap in quality between products and services from Gab, and products and services from Alsun or Momma.
What Gab does excel at, however, is being able to offer services in just about anything. They may not be as good as somewhere else, but at least you can get them all in one place. Gab also offers a few products and services hard to find elsewhere in the City of Cartoons: explosives being a major one. If you need to blow something up, you can usually find the means in Gab. They also offer computer services not easily found outside of Om.
Demographics
Gab's population is a fairly even split between stock humans and mutants, with a sizeable number of synthetics as well. Like many areas of the City of Cartoons, the wealthy are mostly pure-strain humans, though the suburb has a smaller number of super rich than most other suburbs.
Government
Common stories say that Gab tried to model its style of government after Alsun's, but couldn't figure out how it worked, so turned to Jerry for inspiration instead. The stories are meant to mock Gab, but it has resulted in the suburb having actual elections. The elections are highly rigged (by Alsun, Momma, Om, or any combination of those), but at least they happen, and once in a while, someone the populace actually likes is elected to the council or even mayor.
