Depem is the northern province of the empire of Ænadó in northern Túlmikkía. It's bordered by Mapaajes to the west, the Akral Sea to the north, Valmta to the east and Gatalak to the south.
Depem's main settlement is Nat, capital of Ænadó.
The name, meaning The Purple Land, refers to one of the main industries in the region, which is harvesting rare mollusks to make precious purple dye for clothing. Depem is the one of the few places where these mollusks are found in great quantities, and the most plentiful.
