Black Dragon
The Black Dragons were once the mightiest lineage in the Draconic Empire, but following the rebellion of their progenitor Gargath One-Eye, they have been culled and humbled. The Black Dragons were always the greatest commanders and generals in the Draconic Empire, and their particularly sadistic and brutal nature brought down many enemeis with only the threat of violence, a cost-effectiveness appreciated by their cousins.
Once the Black Dragons ruled over the largest numbers of vassal states, but since the destruction of their homeland during the Onyx Rebellion, they have taken to looting and razing the wealth of conquered nations, and bringing it home to Kron Gol. Kron Gol is thus now home to ruins upon ruins, first of ancient Ostoria and then of the Black Dragons' own splendor. Kron Gol is the broken memory of a hundred nations burned to the ground.
The Black Dragons are thus the most feared dragons, as they do not truly conquer their enemies. Rather they are consumers of nations, enslavers of peoples, all in the name of their lost glory.
