Blue Dragon

The Blue Dragons lair in the far north and south of the world, as well as near coasts and in the deep oceans. They are considered bestial by their Elemental kin, as dragons who have been so degenerated by their element as to be barely considered true dragons, with their gills and lairs away from land, but there is an element of jealousy here. Though they may not like to admit it, the other Elemental Dragons have become dependent upon humanoids to produce their food, to populate their Empire and to both expand and protect their hoards.
Blue Dragons have no such limitations, as they have no great kingdoms to protect or families to impress. Of all the Elemental Dragons, only Blue Dragons are truly free. They soar in the sky and in the water, commanding massive territories beneath their ice-cold gaze and hunting for food, leisure and gold. The Blue Dragons thus live the lives all dragons wish they could live, and while they grow slower than their cousins, they all become formidable fighters due to their experience. The Blue Dragons are thus the single most powerful Elemental Dragons in raw physical might, though there are fewer of them than their more numerous Black and Red cousins.
The Blue Dragons also often make their lairs in the ocean, giving them access to a whole world to conquer which most Elemental Dragons must stay away from. Many Blue Dragons also serve as mercenaries, and they have a closer connection with their element than their cousins.

Growth Rate & Stages

Blue Dragons grow slower than their cousins, due to generally having smaller hoards. They reach adulthood at 300 years of age, and grow to become ancient at about 3000 years of age.
