Red Dragon

Red Dragons are the archetypal elemental dragons, vain, cruel and proud creatures who regard the world as rigthfully theirs. Red Dragons are an extended family and empire of fire-breathing tyrants, who have spread from their home in the Draconic Empire to continents all over the world, overseen by Tiamat, their ancient grandmother.
The Red Dragons are today the mightiest lineage of dragons, following the fall from grace of the Black Dragons, and they are not afraid to show off their awesome power. They compete with eachother and other Elemental Dragons for power and gold, and Red Dragons are the greediest and most vainglorious of dragons, who most seek to expand their hoards and claim new lands and slaves.
However, their power and pride has come with a price: hubris. By nature, Red Dragons are solitary beings, who prefer to simply burn away resistance and claim that which they desire, but as they grow older they to be feared and respected, which they must claim from unlucky victims. Their greed has also led them to becoming obsessive, with a terrible and deep burning anger should they be wronged or stolen from. Such vengeance has led to the spilt blood of many fellow dragons, and the pointless deaths of Red Dragons.
