Green Dragon
Green Dragons, the mysterious and capricious fey dragons, have a special position within the Draconic Empire. From within their strongholds and lairs in the Feywild, Green Dragons seek to dominate the dreams of lesser races. They enjoy and excel at plotting and manipulating, using their great magical power to bend kings, heroes, politicians and wizards to their will, and using their might to further the draconic agenda.
Green Dragons will often shape religions, faiths and cults arounds themselves, forming entire sycophantic societies, institutions and ideologies to satisfy their need for divinity. While other Elemental Dragons might physically conquer their enemies and take them into slavery, the Green Dragons worm their way into the hearts and minds of entire nations, making resistance futile.
The Green Dragons are however the least numerous of the true Elemental Dragons in the Draconic EMpire, as many of them were killed or subjugated by the Wood Elf paladins during the Dreamwar. Only the most powerful of the Green Dragons survived this war of extinction without succumbing to either the Wood ELves or Fey Prinecs, and many of these are now locked in their fey fortresses by wood elven magic, forcing them to affect the material world through the dreams of mortals.
The spawn of these ancient ones live in the material world in forests and work to free their progenitors, a feat that can only be achieved with potent summoning magic. A few such ancieent Green Dragons have been freed, and these are powerful and infamous schemers in the Draconic Empire. They prioritize the release of their sublings to the exclusion of everything else, and are thus easily manipulated by other forces in the Draconic Empire.
