Elemental Dragon

During the First War, many Dragons were corrupted by the Primoridals and swore themselves to their service as generals, warriors and monsters. After the First War, most elemental dragons united in the Draconic Empire out of mutual respect and nessecity. Elemental Dragons understood that with the Primordials gone, they could work together to claim the whole world for Dragonkind.
Not all Elemental Dragons united in the Draconic Empire, but many were brought into the fold by force. The Elemental Dragons are ruled by the Council of Mothers, greatwyrms that represent each of the pure lines of Dragons:

• Black
• Red
• Green
• White
• Purple

There are many variations to the Elemental Dragons, and most of these also serve the Draconic Empire as less worthy dragons. The purer a Dragon's lineage is, the more worthy it is. The Dragons of the Draconic Empire could conquer the entire world, but the different lineages are mistrustful of each other, and care little for the dominion of the Draconic Empire so much as they care for their own power. Dragons thus amass wealth, power and influence and lord it over others.
Elemental Dragons outside the Draconic Empire are more used to taking what they want and growing their personal power, while those within are often bound by loyalty to their parents, loyalty which tie everyone together to the Council of Mothers.
Elemental Dragons generally refuse to kill eachother, as they are one extened family, but they will fight to near-death to settle disputes or mark territories. The exception to this rule are the traitor dragons of the Onyx Throne, who have forfeited their lives by their betrayal to the Council of Mothers.
