• This weapon can spend aaaa from an attack any number of times to inflict 1 Strain each time. The attack does not need to be successful to do this.

Pierce-1

• This weapon ignores up to 1 points of Soak.

Linked-3:

• This weapon can spend aaa any number of times to perform an additional attack against the target or an adjacent target.

Piercing:

• This weapon can spend an additional a when it scores a Critical Hit to score a Piercing Critical Hit instead.

Flail in Military Units

When equipped by a Military Unit a flail is one of many kinds of Hand Weapon, it has no effect on the unit's fighting capabilities.

Potential Improvements

• Multiple Heads: A single haft can have multiple smaller flail-heads attached. This decreases the Damage by 1, increases the number of Advantages required to score a Critical Hit by 1, but each time the weapon's Linked quality is triggered it is triggered twice.
