• This weapon adds +d to the difficulty of any Melee Attacks that target the bearer.

Stun-2:

• This weapon can spend aa from an attack any number of times to inflict 1 Strain each time. The attack does not need to be successful to do this.

Pierce-3

• This weapon ignores up to 3 points of Soak.

Linked-4:

• This weapon can spend aaaa any number of times to perform an additional attack against the target or an adjacent target.

Piercing:

• This weapon can spend an additional a when it scores a Critical Hit to score a Piercing Critical Hit instead.

Great-Flail in Military Units

When equipped by a Military Unit a great-flail is one of many kinds of Great Weapon, adding +dd to the unit's melee attacks.

Potential Improvements

• Multiple Heads: A single haft can have multiple smaller flail-heads attached. This decreases the Damage by 1, increases the number of Advantages required to score a Critical Hit by 1, but each time the weapon's Linked quality is triggered it is triggered twice.
