Rapier

The rapier is an extremely specialised type of sword that has begun to become popular in The Kingdom of Rotheval since The Reformation. With the Rotheval Nobility becoming distanced from the concept of Knighthood, a niche grew for a weapon to be used by nobles in duels against other nobles who would not be armoured as they would in The Kingdoms of Somercrag or Irogonie.
The rapier is a very long and narrow blade, incredibly sharp at the point. The light blade makes it less ideal for parrying, but lightning fast.   Rapier
