Cody was born to Queen Berynna Karro in 416KS and turned over to The Queens' Men at a young age to become a Queensblood. His personality however did not mesh well with the structure of the Queens' Men, and following his knighthood in 435KS he left the company to strike out on his own, first as a Tourney Knight in the various tourney circuits of The Continent of Greland, then taking his winnings and the sponsorship of The Karro Family to found his own Mercenary Company, The Karro Whacks.
The Karro Whacks quickly became a renowned company, equally for their diplomatic resolution of complex situations as for their commander's skill on the battlefield.
While attending a Tourney in Southbay in 443KS, following a ransoming of prisoners from ser Allon Southbay during an earlier conflict, ser Cody met members of House Stivir of Stivir, and accepted an invitation to return with them to their lands to court Catherine Stivir. The two married, and produced three heirs (Everan, Jaidyn and Bernyce Stivir) before ser Cody's untimely death in 449KS at the age of thirty-three.
