Early Life

Sylvina's exact date and even year of birth are not known for certain, but it is estimated that she was born in or around the year 431KS. She does not remember much of her early childhood, and has no memories of any family. Her earliest memories are of cold and hunger, sleeping rough in the streets of The City of Southbay, or sometimes in the corners of its warehouses.
In her early adolescence she became part of a street gang, committing petty crimes and engaging in brawls with other gangs of impoverished children.

The Festival of The Stormwyrm

In 442KS ser Allon Southbay held the first The Festival of the Stormwyrm in Southbay. Part of the festivities included a Neophyte Trial held by The Southbay Chapter of The Order of The Wyrm, a series of contests which anyone between the ages of eight and fifteen could enter and win a position serving one of the order's two Knights.
Although Sylvina lost the final test to Darrik, who went on to become ser Dawsin Bartholomeo's Neophyte, she was chosen from amongst the other competitors for her tenacity to become ser Delmar Harvester's Neophyte instead.

The Order of the Wyrm

Being already a very physical child, and with some experience in brawling, Sylvina took to much of her training with ease. The discipline of life in the order came harder to her, but while her fellow trainee Darrik struggled with the conditions of Neophyte life, to Sylvina the cramped, damp quarters and plain but hearty food were luxurious in comparison to her previous life.
During her first year as a Neophyte House Southbay of Southbay went to war against House Darklyn of Darklyn Point for control of The Darklyn Duchy. Ser Delmar led the contingent of Men-at-Arms from the Order, and Sylvina served him in the battles where they fought, at The Battle of Eastcross, The Battle of Blackmyre Castle and The Battle of Darklyn Point.
In late 443KS ser Dawsin Bartholomeo married Lady Arielle Lowblade and left the City of Southbay, leaving Wyrmhaven and the Southbay Chapter in the control of ser Delmar.
In 447KS a disaster occurred in The Hurst Channel, the The Boxsart Hills errupted, destroying many settlements and displacing thousands. The Kingdom of Somercrag launched a massive Rescue Effort, which saw refugees brought into settlements throughout the country, including the City of Southbay.
The Beacon, the ancient seat of The Order of The Wyrm was amongst the destroyed settlements in The Order of The Wyrm, making ser Delmar Harvester, as Chapter Master of the largest group of servants of the Order, the new Lord Commander.

The Church of The Stormwyrm

Following ser Dawsin leaving the Chapter-House, Stormprophet Isambard Brunel began to play an increasing role in the Order of the Wyrm, and Sylvina became interested in The Church of the Stormwyrm. This only deepened with the arrival of Stormprophet Gianas Wyrm to the city in 444KS.
When her training completed in 452KS and she was knighted by ser Delmar, she chose to declare herself a Templar of The Stormwyrm, dedicated to defending the faithful throughout The Continent of Greland. Ser Delmar followed soon after, and by 454KS the Order had fully converted to service of the Church.

The Reclamation

At the Festival of the Stormwyrm 453KS ser Allon declared his intention to leave Southbay to his wife and heirs and lead a Caravan to reclaim his ancestral seat of High Hill in The Swamps of Baycotte.
Ser Sylvina chose to leave with him to protect the faithful among his followers.
The departure was delayed until March of the following year, hoping to reach the remains of High Hill by the end of the year.
