The Men-at-Arms of House Winthrop

The army of House Winthrop of Hess Hall is made up of a number of units as described below:

Deployed Forces

House Winthrop has deployed a number of units to assist House Southbay of Southbay in their campaign against Old Caulstid in the interests of reopening the road between their holdings. These forces have also joined ser Allon's campaign against House Darklyn of Darklyn Point following King Tyon I Cray giving his assent to the scheme to depose Hallkatla Darklyn.

History

At the Battle of Blackmyre Castle ser Dominic's forces fought in support of ser Allon Southbay's campaign against House Darklyn of Darklyn Point in defence of Blackmyre. The Winthrop contingent held the right flank of the battle against a force of Swampers from Baycotte stirred up by Hallkatla Darklyn with rumours of ser Allon's intentions to occupy Baycotte once he has usurped The Darklyn Duchy. In particular, ser Dominic's own foot knights performed admirably, earning themselves a commendation for their performance on the battlefield after putting down almost five times their own number.
