Ariuk of Gold
Priestess Ariuk
Ariuk had given Merakesh Larkin a smooth white stone with a crescent moon carved onto it. It had a hole at one end, so that it could be strung onto ribbon and worn around the neck. She had given it to him as a token of her trust, love and friendship. Before murdering her, Merakesh tossed the stone into the alley.
“For your freedom,” she gasped. “I forgive you.”Only the High Priest is allowed to select his surname, as all other servants of the Church take either 'Of Light' or 'Of Gold' as their surnames as a sign of respect and submission.
