Fraisthor

Fraisthor is the capital of Frais, constructed shortly after the war by the Frian Dynasty over the hovels of their old slavers, it is a testament to the power of the Frian people when united and to the glory that is achieved through unity within the League. It is a vast and sprawling city made mostly with wooden structures, thus throughout the city many water hols and channels are constructed in the case of fire, with some exceptions by the Estates in the New Quarters of the great noble families within Frias and the Frian Dynasty itself.

Industry & Trade

The city mainly deals in the products made by the surrounding countryside, grinding grain, making cloths of sheep's wool and other textiles produced in the city from hemp, it's riverside docks carrying these goods up north along with ever timber to sell to its neighboring regions.

Infrastructure

Throughout the city great watermills sit along the river edge, still fulfilling the ancient need for the prober grinding of bread, but in these days it's more prominent uses are the new texture mills and sawmills which constantly produce goods to be sold all across the League.
Docks for ships small enough to sail along the river, the so-called skiffs as introduced by the northern members of the league regularly dock here to sail their goods north, along with many systems for ferrying the water all around the city for drinking and washing, etc. But also for the more important task of damning the water should it risk overflowing the river bounds.
