Kryna

Some 10 miles from the border to Korvland Region, the city of Kryna is known for it's exceptional theatre, and one of the few places where the stories of old are still kept alive both in oral tradition and in written form. To the Friani performance of oral tradition is of great importance and very popular past time, which in the city of Kryna was heavily influenced by the musical performances of the west, to inspire a unique form of theatre.
Once a mere lumber city it swelled immensely in size as trade with the west grew and the popularity of it's theatre did and attracted people from all over the central kingdoms to witness it. Thus the city is often divided into the old town and the new city, with its northern parts being in stark contrast to the southern part, old wooden houses dating far back with natural and curling roads, compared to planned and at times stone structures of the south.
