Greikhjem

Greikhjem is the ancient home of clan Gruebjorn, and according to their ancient tales one of the greatest clans of the ancient days, great ancient murals depict the world with the "house of the bear", both a reference to the villiage and the great home of the spirit the depictions and ancient symbols detail the coming of the outsiders repeated conquest but always the eternal "house of the bear". The villiage is old and worn, and has little but what the woods provide and though it's people have no shortage of wants for more and ambition of great tales to be spun anew they care little for outsiders, their ways and dealings their greatness comes from the woods and it's connection to the great spirits.
Though by ancient treaty Greikhjem was the domain of House Dunrad and thus now is the domain of House Asger when the Dunrads forfeited their ancestral home, yet the Clan and Greikhjem did not bow, they tolerate the Asgers, so long as they stay away their tribute is paid, a situation that at times works for the Baron, but also presents a problem to his right to rule and the power of his house, and therefor cannot be ignored in perpetuity.
