He is a half-silver-dragon/half-human half-dragon.
As the only Half-dragon in the town of Deerborne, he stood out amonst his peers when about the town. However, with the appointment of Sister Othizia the Adorned, a dragonborn cleric, and the arrival of Sister Renzie a kobold, he isn't the only draconic person in town any longer.
He sometimes goes to the Deerborne Chamber of Commerce to help give advice to the Baron when needed, but spends the majority of his time at the Temple to Ilmater, tending to the building and teaching Othizia and Renzie.

Father Azalia has taken great care of Othizia during her tenure at Deerborne, and will continue to do so during her "residency" at Deerborne. He pays for her equipment and any specialty goods she may need for her duties as a cleric. While appreciative, Othizia still longs to see her family again.

Sister Renzie's recent appointment to the temple in Deerborne recently begun, with Father Azalia already treating her like Othizia when she first came. He wants to see her succeed in her training and studies so one day she can become a cleric like Othizia and succeed in teaching the ways of Ilmater
