Dabiici, The Orphan of Nature (Dah-Bee-See)

Dabiici is the 4th youngest child of the 8 Orphans, a group of deities that belong to The 8 Orphans Pantheon. Their domain is nature and they stand as a very enigmatic god. While other gods in the pantheon have clearly known objectives or aspects that reflect their domain, Dabiici does not. As such their worship varies depending on where you are in The Five Kingdoms. Some worship them as a hunting god, a harvest god, a god of forests, or even a god of bodies of water of wildlife, or all of these things combined. As a byproduct of this varied worship, their depiction is extremely different region to region, everything from clothing down to their gender. The only thing uniform about Dabiici is their holy symbol, a leaf with mighty antler horns. Not much is known by religious scholars about Dabiici's interaction with their siblings before, during, or after the war in heaven. What is known is that Dabiici looked up to their older brother Nolosha, Orphan of Life. If this feeling of respect or admiration was mutual is also unknown. Because of how varied the worship is of Dabiici the people who choose to be devout worshipers of them are each very unique and Dabiici doesn't have any extremely popular orders of sects that seek to do their will on the mortal plane. Some seek to protect the natural beauty of their homes, while others have less altruistic goals-simply seeking to harness the power of nature to further their own ambitions. With such a lack of information, it's no surprise that rumors and hearsay would give way, and one such rumor is that Dabiici is actually a blood-thirsty deity of chaotic natural power. Where this rumor stemmed from is unknown, and whether it true or not. . .that is also to be debated within the halls of temples.

Dabiici, The God of Blood?

In the remote wooded areas of The Five Kingdoms, places whose secrets and dangers were long forgotten, there are said to be sacred alters and cults. Men who dress like an animal, stealing away hunters and children, and sacrificing them to their dark god, Dabiici. While these are rumors it is no rumor that in some wooded areas of The Five Kingdom people go missing, and not all return. Those that do are often horribly mutilated, or so traumatized by what they say they enter catatonic states and never recover. Something is in those woods, that much is known, whether it's a secret cult devoted to worshiping Dabiici is simply a rumor. It is likely to stay that way as well, as almost no one is brave enough to enter to find the truth. . .almost no one.

The Gender Question

Something commonly and often heatedly debated among religious scholars is the gender of Dabiici. Not because this fact is important to understand the god more complexly, but more so individuals can prescribe their views of nature upon the world. In The Five Kingdoms, gender is more often than not binary, and as such roles and certain demeanors are prescribed to genders. Women are more gentle, men are more aggressive, etc. This had led the Nomida human culture to gender many things in their society. The sun is male, the moon is female, but what is the gender of nature? Some say it's harsh and unforgiving and thusly prescribe it as male, while others say it's gentle and raises humanity and thusly prescribe it as female. It's usually a casual argument had among friends. Like whether cheesecake is cake or pie (it's a tart duh), but everything is serious among religious scholars which is why whether or not you believe Dabiici is male or female often determines whether or not your local temple priest likes you or not.
This is a link to someone wishing to create a cleric of the nature domain.http://dnd5e.wikidot.com/cleric:nature. This god is perfect for your chaotic cleric character. Because Dabiici is worshiped differently around The Five Kingdoms you are more than welcome to make up your own reasons for worshiping and more importantly your own reasons for becoming a cleric and adventuring around the world. Maybe you wish to help preserve nature around the world, or you need money to donate to a nature-protecting group, or maybe you just wanna spread that Dabiici is definitely a woman/man and think beating up big bad monsters is the best way to give yourself legitimacy. Whatever you choose make sure you bring it up with me before you start making anything concrete.
